Dapper was abandoned in a park in Rowland Heights on January 13th 2024.
Some nice people were having a picnic and heard him loudly "WHEEEK WHEEEKing" for help. He was very scared and we were happy we had the space to take him in, he is a very handsome and sweet gentleman. We love him!
On October 1st 2024 we paired him up with this adorable baby boy (3.5 weeks old). They are settling into their new foster's home and she reports they are pretty inseparable now.
Now that Dapper and baby boy have each other, they need a forever home!
Dapper is under two years old (as of March 2024) He's a super handsome Abyssinian with a great personality.
All of our piggies are fostered in LA, OC and Ventura Counties so please message us if you would like to meet any of them.

Southern California Guinea Pig Rescue (SCGPR) is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of neglected, abandoned, and at-risk Guinea Pigs.
Our adoptable Guinea Pigs are cared for in homes by foster volunteers and our organization operates entirely on donations.
Our network spans the whole of Southern California and we work to serve every community throughout Orange County, Los Angeles County, and Ventura County.
We have over 30 years of combined experience working in Guinea Pig rescue and our goal is simple, save as many Guinea Pigs as possible, and place them into loving, permanent homes. We are passionate, small but mighty!
