My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please check you junk/spam folder if you inquire about a rabbit and do not see a reply.

INDOOR ONLY HOMES, PLEASE!

Butternut was a stray singleton baby bunny rescued locally here in Lake Elsinore.

His estimated date of birth is late December 2023 or early January 2024.

He is neutered and vaccinated against RHDV2.

Butternut managed to get his back foot caught somehow and sustained a minor fracture. It has healed as best as it will at this time.

Butternut a sweet boy currently in a nearby foster home receiving tlc and just waiting for his perfect person to adopt him!

Rabbits are a 10+ year commitment.

Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit.

Butternut can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information.

PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies!

If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
