Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, I'm Artic! I was rescued as a kitten last winter and thankfully survived, despite being frostbitten. Once I healed, I was adopted; unfortunately, my adopters felt I wasn't a good fit with their older cat so I was returned to care on my first birthday. I think the older cat would have grown to like me under different circumstances, but we didn't really have a slow, proper introduction. So, I mostly just hid in the basement and didn't get much attention. I'm a sweet, affectionate girl who can't wait to find my true furever home where I can share all my love and be loved in return. I can be a little shy at first, so I need a patient, caring adopter who will give me time to gain their trust and to feel comfortable after my rough start in life. I would probably do best in a quieter home without children, and I would really like for my furever person to have time to give me the love and attention that I've missed out on the last few months. Of course I always use the litterbox like a good girl. To meet me, go to WAALrescue.org/adopt and fill out an application.
