My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marco is one of our 5 male rats left over from a hoarding accidental breeding situation from February 2023. These boys are wonderful rats, though very shy. They are not overly fond of being held, but do love to interact at the habitat door. They are eager to take treats and love to play with each other. Marco is a submissive gentle boy that was being bullied by his group of brothers. Currently he is housed alone in his habitat, but surrounded by rats by the safety of his habitat. We would love to see if he could find a cage mate. He is listed to be adopted out by himself and needs a home with lots of human interaction or a potential home where he can have a friend. He has been treated for an upper respiratory infection, but the doctor has given him an all clear to be adopted with the understanding that upper respiratory infections are common reoccurrences in rats.
