My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Astro is still just a puppy. Less than 1.5-years-old. 60-pounds of tonka tuff muscle. Lots of energy. Very playful. Meathead + Lovebug + Party guy.
This is Astro's second stint here at HHS. He has been separated from two different families. Kicked out of two different homes. Even though it wasn't his fault (breed restrictions are such an unkind practice) Astro has become homeless twice before the age of 2.
If you ask him though, he's not thinking much about being sad. He's too focused on being excited. Excited that he'll get a third family soon.
We're hoping that's very soon. And maybe, just maybe, this one can be his furever family.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees range from $56-$86. This includes vaccines, flea/tick protection, health exam at local veterinary clinic, collar,leash, 50% discount on spay/neuter. Altering is done at the time of adoption, prior to the pet going home.
There is an application for adoption, a 24 hour hold and an adoption contract.

We are located in Williamsburg, VA. Our adoption center is open 6 days a week from 12 noon - 4:30 pm, and we are closed on Mondays for deep clean.
