My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rori! She is 100% Bluetick Coonhound. We took her in as she was in a high kill shelter in rural Georgia. She had some super cute babies with her who have all been adopted. It`s a miracle she lasted as long as she did in the shelter.
Rori is definitely a hound dog and she will get her bay/howl going when she`s excited. We always talk back to her with our own howls, LOL. She`s pretty low energy; her day consists of breakfast, a lap around the yard, naps all day, dinner, and bed time.
Rori does have what we like to call `special feet.` We have seen the specialist and done every test that we can for Rori, and we found out it`s just a congenital birth defect. Her front paws are missing the center pad which has caused her two outer toes to curl under and become the center pad. Don`t let this fool you. Rori can still run super fast when she wants to! She prefers soft surfaces like grass and does walk with a limp...we think she`s milking it for the attention!

If you would like to meet Rori and give her the best home ever, please email info@BigHearts4PawsRescue.org for an application. Our adult dog adoption donation is $200. Rori is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. She is potty trained and knows the doggy door.
