My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Valentina is a beautifully marked tuxedo girl with lovely green/amber eyes. She was rescued in Brown's Mills and came to the Hissy Hut in February 2024. She started off as a very scared kitty and spent some time in Foster Care. Valentina is still somewhat shy but she doesn't take long to get to know you! She loves being petted on her pretty head and purrs and kneads the bread while you're socializing with her. A quiet home would probably be best for this lovely girl.

Since Valentina is shy, she will need to go into a home where the family has patience and time for her to show her true amazing self.

Additional adoption info

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
