Rescue Story
Poby's journey began in the midst of a challenging situation. Rescued from an overcrowded shelter alongside 1,200 other dogs, he faced a daunting start to life. His days were spent surrounded by fellow furry friends, with only a handful of caregivers to tend to their needs. In such a chaotic environment, portion control was difficult, and Poby, being a lover of food, indulged a bit too much. As a result, he found himself struggling with obesity.
But fate had a brighter path in store for Poby when a compassionate foster mom stepped in to offer him a second chance. Under her loving care, he embarked on a journey to shed those extra pounds and reclaim his health. Though he still has some weight to lose, his progress is steady, and his diet is carefully monitored.
About Him/Her
Despite his initial timidity, Poby's sweet nature shines through. He may take some time to warm up, but once he does, his affectionate personality emerges. You'll know he's comfortable when he greets you with gentle jumps of excitement, especially if treats are involved!
Poby is a low-maintenance companion who's perfectly content lounging in his bed for hours on end. He's unfazed by the presence of other animals or children and prefers the company of his humans. While his past may have left him a bit reserved, he's eager to learn and grow, faithfully shadowing his foster mom as he discovers the joys of human companionship.
Though he may be a bit older, Poby's spirit remains youthful, and his health is still robust. With patience and love, he's ready to embark on the next chapter of his life, filled with the warmth and security of a forever home. Could that home be with you?
