Hi there, I'm Lorenzo! I'm a sweet and gentle pup who's feeling a bit overwhelmed in the noisy shelter environment. I'm really hoping to find a kind-hearted foster or adopter who can help me discover what love and comfort truly mean.

Even though I'm a little nervous, I've been making great strides in the shelter, especially when it comes to making friends with other dogs at playgroup. I think having a furry sibling in my future home would be fantastic, and I'm sure we'd get along well together.

I came to the shelter as a puppy, and now, at one year old, I've spent my entire formative time here. I was found and brought in by a kind Samaritan, and while I'm not eager to revisit my past, I'm ready to focus on my future. My shelter friends believe my early days weren't the best, but I'm determined to show my new family just how much love I have to give. I can't wait to play with toys, enjoy cozy moments, and become a cherished member of your family. Please consider giving me the chance to be your loyal companion!

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
