My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Harper, the resilient beauty ready to break free from the confines of the shelter and embrace life to the fullest! Despite a rough start, Harper's true spirit shines bright now that she's feeling her best. Gone are the days of a quiet demeanor-Harper's athleticism and boundless energy demand attention!
To unlock her full potential, Harper needs a home where her zest for life can be channeled into positive outlets. A yard to stretch her legs and plenty of exercise and training sessions will keep her thriving. Harper's ideal playmates are those who match her energetic vibe and are ready to rumble for a game of tug-of-war or a round of zoomies in the snow-her absolute favorite!
While Harper may have reservations around men initially, with patience and gentle introductions, she warms up quickly. In her downtime, she's a pro at settling in her kennel for a chew session or a well-deserved nap. And when it's cuddle time, there's no place she'd rather be than snuggled up close.
If you're ready to welcome a spirited companion into your life, Harper is eager to join your adventure. Don't miss out on the chance to give this resilient girl the loving home she deserves-adopt Harper today and watch her flourish!
Harper is ready to be your next adventure buddy!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

You can see animals that you are interested in online. Filling out an application does not commit you to a specific animal.

2.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Once you have filled out the application, come in and meet the animals. You can change which animal you've applied for!

3.

Interview

While we do not do a formal interview, when you meet the animals, we may ask questions about your family to ensure a great fit!

4.

Approve Application

We process applications Monday-Friday, in the order received. It takes approximately 24-48 business hours to approve.

5.

Meet the Pet

Once you have been approved, we may do a meet-and-greet with resident animals, and all members of the household to ensure a great fit!

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

Sign the adoption contract, pay the adoption fee, and then you get to take your new family member home!

Go meet their pets

Our facility is open to the public from 11-4 daily, with the exception of major holidays.

We also have a thrift store in our building - 100% of the proceeds from this go directly into the shelter. The thrift store is open Tuesday-Sunday from 10:30-6.

More about this shelter

Intermountain Humane Society is a limited admission facility. We accept animals into our facility based on space availability and the age/temperment/health of the animal.
