Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PHYSICAL FENCE REQUIRED
Meet Giselle, a 5-year-old Blue Merle girl who is looking for a forever family to call her own! Gorgeous Giselle has the most striking brown and blue eyes. She’s definitely on the calm side for a Collie, but don’t worry—she’s still plenty playful, too!
Sweet Giselle is curious and friendly about people, and once she gets to know someone, she really enjoys their companionship. She absolutely adores spending time with her foster parents, and we’re sure that she’ll be just as much of a Velcro dog with her forever family! Giselle is also a confirmed cuddle bug and is comfortable helping herself to the furniture, whether her people are using it or not. She has also come to really enjoy playing fetch and is learning to love toys more each and every day.
Giselle enjoys palling around with calm canine companions, but due to her past experiences, she can be a little on the shy side at first. She also has a pretty strong prey drive, so she needs to be in a forever home that is free of cats and other small critters. We think that Giselle will be happiest as her forever family’s only dog and only pet.
Giselle is a completely house-trained and crate-trained Certified Good Girl! Her crate is her safe space, and she loves to retreat there for rest and reassurance. She sleeps in her crate all night without making a peep, too! Giselle is still working on learning more commands, but with her motivation to earn treats, we’re sure that she’ll be a perfectly proper Collie in no time.
Giselle’s past experiences have made her anxious around loud noises and sudden movements, so we think that a home in a quiet neighborhood or area will suit her best. Giselle also needs to have a physical fence at her forever home to ensure that she stays safe.
If you’ve got your heart set on a calm, low-key Collie, Giselle just might be the girl of your dreams! Fill out an Adoption Application for her today!
