My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Meet Fiona: A Furry Diva with a Heart of Gold!"

Hi there, my name is Fiona and I am a 2-year-old female Cur mix with the most beautiful golden green eyes you'll ever see. I may have had a rough start to life as I was left abandoned by my previous owner, but that hasn't stopped me from being the sweet and loving dog that I am.

My striking reddish brown coat and fluffy fur make me look like a supermodel, but deep down, I'm just a playful and active girl looking for my forever home. I am fully vetted and spayed, so no need to worry about any extra expenses.

I may have a diva side to me, but I promise to be your best friend and loyal companion. I am an affectionate girl who loves cuddles and belly rubs. I am a social butterfly and get along well with dogs. I would love to have a playmate to keep me company.

I may be young, but I have a big heart and a lot of love to give. I am a happy pup who will always put a smile on your face. So if you're looking for a furry friend to brighten up your days, look no further. Come meet me and see for yourself why I would make the perfect addition to your family. I can't wait to meet you!

More about this shelter

My sister and I are partners in this endeavor and share the same love for animals. Our mission is to rescue abandoned, stray, homeless animals by getting them physically and mentally healthy. To strive to aid in the eradication of pet overpopulation with spay/neutering before adoption. We want to witness and be a part of ending the ‘dumping’ epidemic we see here in our state of Louisiana and in our local area!
