My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Lakeville, MN

Hi!

My name is Aven, but my foster family calls me Ava.

Inside you can find me chilling in my dog bed, somewhere near your feet, or cuddling you on the couch! Outside I love a space to run free!

I'm your typical 1(ish) year old lab, with spurts of energy, but don't let my excitement fool you, I'm always counting down the time until my next nap! I know things like sit, wait, leave it, and am constantly working on more commands!

I wouldn't mind a sibling close to my age in my forever home to learn from, run around in a fenced in yard and play with! I may require a slower introduction to my new dog sibling(s) but will love them after we get to know each other better. Or if you want to keep me a single dog and give me all of your love, I wouldn't mind that either!

I also have a mini human at my foster home, I love that little guy.

I'm excited to find a forever home with a family who will give me lots of love, attention and want to live an active life with me! Maybe that's you and if so, I can't wait to meet you!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (Distemper, Rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
