Nicknamed: Marty Mcfly OR Rascall! Marney has an incredibly endearing and appreciative soul. Marney has a past that has restricted his ability to properly socialize and gain exposure in an average way. Marney went into foster for two months with a dog savvy individual and we learned a few things once he felt safe and showed his colors.
1. Marney is tolerant, and engaging with a variety of animals. They can spook him, but he is very respectful regardless with the right introduction. - [ ] Rabbits - [ ] Guinea pigs - [ ] Sassy cats - [ ] Calm, balanced dogs.
2. Given the right approach, especially with treats involved out of the kennel he adores affection, under the chin scratches and spending time involved in what is going on in the home.
3. Marney is shy/skittish, and his ideal home would be a calm single person, who can help him socialize in the world. He forms a strong bond! If a multi family he would be recommended to be with older children, as well as have a structured routine to not form any sort of unwanted or unhealthy behaviors around a specific individual.
4. Marney is crate trained, leash trained, snd potty trained especially with a consistent routine. He would love a backyard to call his own- he very much enjoys sniffventures and zoomies in a secure space.
5. Once given proper time to decompress and feel safe Marney is incredibly responsive to being obedient and learning. He will require someone to continue this with him at his pace to help him be the wonderful dog he is.
Marney would LOVE the chance to meet you, and to be given the chance to love you. Come meet him today!

We try to make the process as smooth as possible and we want to set you and your new pet up for success. We always recommend doing a meet and greet with your dog before adding a new dog to your home and we are always happy to help with that.
