Hi there, I’m sweet Macchiato! I’m a gentle girl with a big heart, and I’m on the lookout for my forever home. I absolutely adore people and soak up attention like a sunbeam on a warm day. If you like lounging around and cuddling, then we’re going to be the perfect pair! One of my favorite pastimes is enjoying car rides—I feel the wind in my fur and can’t help but get excited! I can be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a few opportunities to warm up, and I will love you fiercely! I’m a calm and chill girl at heart, but when I’m feeling happy and free, you'll certainly see my zoomies in action! There’s nothing quite like the joy of running around, and I’d love a space where I can do zoomies all day long.  My ideal home would be a calm and patient environment, where I can truly relax and know I’m safe. I enjoy playing catch and tug of war, and I’m great with kids. While I’m friendly with people, but I can be a bit selective with other female dogs. The volunteers and staff here adore me, and I promise to return all that love tenfold once I know I can trust you. Walks and belly rubs are some of my absolute favorites—just picture me laying in your lap, soaking up all the love you have to give. I tend to get overlooked at the shelter, but I know there’s a special someone out there who will see how wonderful I truly am.
