Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Elliot is simply perfection! That is all that needs to be said. This little guy is a perfect addition to any senior loving home. He is guessed to be about 12 years old + and this little petite nugget only weighs approximately 11 lbs. He is a friendly boy and will happily follow you around, but be careful- his eyesight is not great, so he should be kept away from open stairs, steps, ledges, etc. He needs to be carried up and down stairs, but other than that he gets around very well.
Elliot has displayed perfect house manners - potty training, comfy in a crate, very quiet. He is such a very easy roommate to keep. He has a great appetite, but cannot have ANY chicken related food or treats, as is causes him allergies- paw licking, insane ear infections. Just best to read all label ingredients very carefully and to avoid chicken at all costs. He is not picky, and will eat pretty much anything provided.
Elliot gets along with anyone he meets. He has done well with dogs of all sizes, but does not like when dogs try to play with him. He prefers to have his own quiet space. He gets along with cats, and respectful children. He really just is looking for a nice warm bed, lots of yummy food and a human buddy to pet him. Elliot's adoption donation of $350 helps cover the cost of his veterinary care. Elliot has received a full dental, is neutered and up to date with vaccines. Elliot was also treated for Lyme's disease.
Application, reference checks, and home visit required. Adopters must live 1.5 hours driving distance from Romeoville, IL. For more information on adopting, please email us at info@perfectpooches.org.
