For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Caillian! I am excitable young boy who was living in a less than ideal situation and now I am looking for my furever home where I can be the center of your world! I have a lot to learn as far as basic commands and canine manners, but I am eager to please and ready to learn, I was briefly living in a home and am housebroken and crate-trained.
I have shown some reactivity towards other dogs because I was bullied a lot growing up but with a proper introduction I might be able to have a doggy companion. I may do ok with cats, but have yet to meet one!
Kiddos make me SUPER nervous so any "non-adults" need to be at least 10+ and understand my need for space, but we should meet first to be sure. f you think I would be a good fit with your family, come down to the shelter to meet me!
--- Our facility is open daily from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM, meet and greet appointments are highly recommended. If you are interested in meeting an animal please contact us via email at Lancaster@pspca.org to learn more about our adoption process and to set a meet and greet appointment.
