Pinto
Foster/Home Needed – Long Island or Rochester, NY
MEET PINTO! This adorable guy was found as a stray in October of 2017. He ended up at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter (TOHAS) and has been waiting for a home ever since. He had great care at the shelter and has a huge following of loving fans, but he had a few behavior issues that made it challenging to find him a home. Pinto has been working with an experienced behaviorist to provide the structure and care he needs. Now, our handsome Pinto Bean is ready to find his forever home!
Pinto is a 60 pound, 7 year-old pitty mix with the heart of a puppy. He is house and crate trained and knows all basic commands: sit, stay, come,
down, leave it, heel, and no jump. Pinto is very playful, loves to run, and walks nicely on a leash. He does need a little time to get to know new people and should be the only pet in an adult-only home. Pinto needs a special person/family who understands that it has been years since he has lived in a home and requires some time to adjust.
If you feel you might be the perfect fit for Pinto, please contact adoptions@paws-li.org or go to our FB page or call the number listed below.
