Mochi!

Hello! This is Mochi (mo-chee) and he is around 10 yrs old (could be younger since he was a stray)

We are looking to rehome Mochi in preparation for our first child. I’m looking much earlier in advance so I have time to vet ppl out.

Mochi is calm like 80% of the day despite being a mix of a bunch of herding dogs but definitely gets more energetic after work hours. He had heartworms after I initially adopted him 5 years ago but those were treated w no issues. He is not a super cuddly dog but definitely enjoys people and being pet. Just not hugs, being lifted, or his tail being touched while he’s resting. Hes also doesnt have the best track record w other animals especially ones bigger than him (could also be my inexperience w dog behavior though) He plays on the rougher side for some people but he is also very food motivated.

I don’t want to risk the chance of my dog reactively biting my child because his tail was accidentally touched.
