Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Maximillian, but most people just call me Max!
My whole life changed for the better a few weeks ago when Leia's Hope saved me from living in a kennel. Where I came from there was a bunch of dogs, some like me but some different sizes and colors. It could get really loud in there at times and there was no toys or dog beds. I like toys and I especially like dog beds!
Now I am in a home with just a few dogs and they are BIG! I made friends with them right away because it's always good to have someone who has your back! I share a dog bed with them sometimes and at night I sleep with a person. I'm very good at night and don't have accidents when I sleep with her. I like this bedtime thing and I don't want to mess up a good thing!
I'm a playful guy and would like to have a playmate in my new home, kids or a young dog. Well enough about me, submit an application so I can learn something about you!
Max's adoption is $500. He is not neutered due to his young age (we neuter at 6 months). A neuter contract will be required and covered by our Decatur vet. Max is current on vaccines, microchipped and on flea/heart worm prevention.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
