Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ren, a three-and-a-half-year-old male American Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing 59 pounds. Silly and affectionate, Ren longs to be with someone who will accept him for who he is. He is quick to make friends and loves to be petted. After a day of running outside in the grass, he enjoys snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. Lover Boy has become a staff favorite for his easy-going nature and loving demeanor. Adopt Ren today and welcome this sweet companion into your home.
Ren will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along. He will need a cat-free home.
Ren is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today.

We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.
We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
