Meet Chico, the pint-sized charmer! This 4-year-old Chihuahua, weighing just under 7 lbs, has a heart as big as Texas. After his owner's health took a hit post-move, they sadly couldn't keep up with Chico's care, so they reached out to us. Turns out, our little buddy tested positive for heartworms, but fear not, it's totally treatable and then preventable with a monthly pill.

Now, as he undergoes treatment, Chico's on a quest to find his forever snuggle buddy! He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with both dogs and cats, and he's a total people pleaser. Just remember, while he's on the mend, he'll thrive best in a chillaxed environment for the next 6 months.
