My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi friends, I'm Franky! I'm still getting used to having a name, since not long ago I was only seen as a number. I spent the majority of my life being used as an animal testing subject and living in a tiny cage. Did you know that animal testing includes experimentation on cats and dogs, too? Now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, I'm loving my new life and so ready to find a forever home! I'm a silly, sweet, and incredibly loving boy. I will make the most loyal companion ever for my adopter! I love to snuggle and play and would be happy to spend all day right next to my humans! I truly am man's best friend. Oh, and dog's best friend, because I love other dogs, too! Could you adopt me and give me the life that I've always dreamed of?

I would prefer a home that has: a fenced yard, other dogs, lots of love!

My location: SAN ANTONIO, TX

*Please note that third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed directly above!*

Additional adoption info

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
