Hi there! I'm Cookie, a super sweet and loving beagle boy! I'm such a happy pup; don't you just love my adorable and silly smile? I spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? I'm so thankful to have been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project, because now I'm starting to thrive! I can be a little nervous at first, but once i trust you, I'll be sure give you lots of affection and engage in some goofy playtime! I have a moderate energy level, so I'll make a great adventure buddy or perfect snuggle companion. I'll do best in a home where I can be your one and only animal as other dogs and cats seem to scare me. I hope an adopter notices me soon! Sometimes, I still have bad dreams about my time in the laboratory and wake up feeling so scared... could you give me my forever home so that I'll know no one will ever hurt me again?
