My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Beau'Hannon: Your New World Explorer!

Are you ready to welcome a charismatic adventurer into your home? Beau'Hannon, affectionately known as Beau or BeauBeau, is a spirited domestic medium hair black tom, around two and a half years old, ready to embark on his next big adventure – hopefully with you!

Background & Personality:
Beau'Hannon isn't your average cat. Despite his dapper ear tip, he's no feral; he's been in human care since his kitten days, albeit with a rough start. Rescued from the streets, Beau spent his first fifteen months in a cage, but now, he's all about exploring. His foster home has been his playground, where he's learned to trust and play, especially enjoying parkour chases with his brother TC, though he's not strictly bonded.

Physical Traits:
At just seven pounds, Beau is on the smaller side, a testament to his early days of malnutrition. Yet, this only adds to his charm. With a large, fluffy head, oversized paws, and piercing yellow-green eyes, Beau looks like he's stepped out of a cartoon. His fur is incredibly soft, reminiscent of a rabbit's, making him irresistible to cuddle.

Likes & Lifestyle:
Beau is a gentle soul with a love for play. He adores balls, crinkle toys, catnip mice, and especially boxes. Interactive play is his favorite, but it must be gentle. He's the kind of cat who will cry out for affection, reveling in long petting sessions, showing his unusually sweet nature.

Social Skills:
Over a year in foster care, Beau has proven to be incredibly sociable, meeting over a dozen cats without a single conflict. He's so gentle that his foster has never seen him raise a paw in anger or even hiss seriously. This makes him an ideal companion for another male cat of similar age.

Adoption Considerations:
Adopting Beau'Hannon means welcoming a cat with a past that requires understanding and patience. His early life experiences mean he'll need an adopter who's experienced with cats, ready to give him the time and space he needs to adjust. His foster has prepared a detailed guide on his preferences and needs, ensuring his new family is well-equipped to care for him.

Health & Diet:
Beau is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He thrives on a raw whole prey diet for health reasons but can adapt to canned food and tolerates dry food.

Ideal Home:
Beau would thrive in a home where he can continue his adventures with his brother TC, but he can also go solo if there's another male cat to keep him company. He's not for first-time cat owners; he needs someone who understands and respects his unique background.

If you're looking for a cat that's not just a pet but a companion with character, Beau'Hannon might just be the explorer your home needs. Ready to give him the world he deserves?

Additional adoption info

While we do offer a FaceTime or in home visit, it is not about checking on your housekeeping. The purpose of the home visit is to check for safety hazards so that we can counsel new adopters how to make a safer environment for their new family member.
