Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Piper is a sweetheart, she loves to play with her jolly ball, stretch her legs, and get lots of belly rubs. Unfortunately, she's had a bit of a rough go of it. After not getting along with another dog in her first home, she ended up being fostered within our family. Piper has spent a lot of time kenneled in the past few years due to her not being okay with dogs and having a strong prey drive. She's been with us since October, and while we still have to crate and rotate, she has come into her own by being able to exercise in our large 2-acre fence and interacting with us regularly. She's the greatest little pup. We love her and want to see her in the right home where she can live out the rest of her life worry-free. If we didn't have other dogs, we would keep her in an instant!
Piper is housebroken, crate trained (currently in a Ruff Land Kennel), and knows basic obedience as well as can show you a trick or two! She’s a quick learner and is eager to please. She’s happy running around in her yard for hours playing fetch or cuddling with her humans. Piper would do best in an experienced dog home with a fenced-in yard but is fine on a leash. She does pull slightly but I have no doubts this can be worked on. She doesn't lunge at other dogs while you're walking, she just doesn't like dogs in her face. She prefers her humans to be older kids (12 plus or dog savvy) and adults.
Discounted access to Reilly's 2 Acre Fully Fenced Play Space with Wooded Paths (sniff spot) located in Waterford is included with Piper’s adoption."

Canine Cupids' mission is to protect and improve the lives of homeless, neglected, and exceptional needs dogs and to place them in permanent, loving homes.
Canine Cupids is a Certified 501c3 Organization
DATCPLicense: 288601-DS
Canine Cupids work with animals, within our community and throughout our organization is guided by three core values: compassion, integrity and dedication.
Because every animal deserves to be loved, we feel it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes.
We strive to work with animal control agencies as well as other rescues and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless pets within our community.
At Canine Cupids our founding principle is that "ALL dogs are individuals and deserve to be regarded as such". This mindset is core to the belief system at The Animal Farm Foundation. It assists in securing equal treatment and opportunity for "pit bull" dogs - as well as all dogs, regardless of size, color, etc.
"We owe it to all dogs to see them for who they really are, free of prejudice, stereotypes, and assumptions that are based on a known pedigree, a breed label guess, physical appearance, or their past history."*
"Breed related traits are not guaranteed. If a dog does conform to breed traits that does not mean a dog isn't an individual! Breed characteristics may contribute to a dog?s individuality, but they are not the whole story." *
Don't judge a book by its cover and don't judge a pooch by its stereotype!
