Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Doss, a 2yr old male domestic orange/cream colored cat, fully vetted, UTD on all vaccines, is one of our newest residents at HSAC. After being rescued by our Humane Agent, Doss is starting to decompress & open up. Just like his siblings, Manson & Ramirez, Doss had a rough life before coming to HSAC & he is learning how to be a cat all over again. Doss like to be petted & shown attention. We believe Doss would do good in a home with cats and children. He just wants a home for Valentine's Day & hopes he gets a chance to experience freedom before the month is over. Doss is an indoor cat only & he is ready to be adopted today! If you would be interested in giving me a furever home, please contact The Humane Society of Adams County, Inc. at (937) 544-8585 to set up a time to come meet me and fill out an adoption application!

Our adoption process is made up of two parts. Upon a decision to adopt an animal we require an application for adoption that asks questions such as housing and veterinary references. We then check references and may require a home visit. Upon approval you will fill out a contract for adoption and pay the adoption fees. Adoption fees are based on age and vetting required.
