Malamute lovers line up for this big fluff of love! Chief is a large male malamute that is typical in every way with the exception that he has done well with indoor and outdoor cats. This boy is very large and needs a strong experienced owner. He loves car rides but tries to ride up front on your lap so needs to be secured to keep everyone safe. He is a sweet pup that is in need of learning manners and boundaries to ensure he becomes the great canine citizen he is capable of being. Sadly his previous owner passed away after a long illness so is very needy of attention and can be pushy to get it. During that time he spent a lot of time tied up due to the owners health issues so is really enjoying walks and outdoor activities. He loves people and getting butt scratches and his cheeks rubbed once he gets to know you and he is particularly fond of men. He has done well with children but based on his size should be in a home with older kids. He has been good with other dogs of medium and large size but has not been observed around small dogs. He loves playing with his rope toys!

The adoption fee of $400 includes spay-neuter and all vaccines.

Chief is being lovingly cared for in Washington while he awaits his new forever home.
