My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Mac

Breed: Unknown but everyone thinks I am handsome.

Weight: 60 lbs

Age: Approximately 1.5 years old

Personality Traits: People who met me think I am an old soul and a baby at the same time. All I wants is to be around my people. I im incredibably loyal and just want to be wherever you are .. near your feet, in the corner with a toy or ball and am just happy wherever you are.

Behavior: I am told I am well-behaved dog who walks nicely on a leash, making me an ideal walking companion. I am fully potty trained and crate trained. I do make mistakes but am willing to learn and take corrections very well. I know that `No` means to stop what I am doing and try to not do it again. I like other pups as long as they are not afraid of me or my size. I don`t react since I know I am big and strong. If an older dog wants to be left alone, I respect that and do exactly that. I want to be friends with everyone and approach them with a friendly demeanor and enjoys making new furry friends. I particularly loves the company of older children, relishing in their playfulness and energy.

Unknown Reactions: I have not met small toddlers and cats at my foster home.

Ideal Home: Mac would thrive in a loving and active household where he receives plenty of attention and exercise. A family with older children who can reciprocate his affection and engage in playtime activities would be perfect for him. While his compatibility with small toddlers and cats is uncertain, with proper introductions and training, Mac could potentially adjust well to a variety of living situations.

Obedience Training: Mac has shown a willingness to learn and please, making him an excellent candidate for obedience training. His foster family has been actively working with him on basic commands such as sit, stay, bed, and come/free, and he`s been making great progress. Mac responds well to positive reinforcement techniques, and his eagerness to please makes training sessions enjoyable for both him and his foster family. In a few short days he has learnt the word `bed` which means go to your cushion pad and it learning everyday to stay longer on it till told to be free. He knows to sit but we`re working on `stay`

Potty and Crate Training: Mac is already potty trained and crate trained, which is a testament to his intelligence and adaptability. He understands the importance of going outside to do his business and is consistent with his po
