Forget-Me-Nots are small, sometimes missed, flowers that symbolize true love, loyalty, and remembrance. At the Maryland SPCA, we classify a pet as a Forget-Me-Not to highlight an animal that may have some extra considerations for potential adopters to be aware of. Even though this pet may need a little extra TLC in order to fully bloom, we know they are still a strong candidate for adoption and they're sure to bring true love and loyalty into their new family. We hope you'll remember these beautiful creatures when you consider adopting.
Kacey is a very polite gentleman who has been patiently waiting for his forever home. Kacey wants nothing more than to be your best buddy. When he's not chasing his toys around the house, he loves to hang out together on the couch. He is proficient in a number of advanced napping positions, including the pumpkin loaf, the little bean, and the big stretch. He will always greet you when you come home with leg rubs and even a little meow if you're lucky. Kacey loves meeting new people and is happy to hang around a crowd! He is quite a ladies man, so hang on to your girlfriends, folks! His very favorite activity is chasing string toys, and he will gently paw at you to remind you to play with him. He's a very smart boy and enjoys learning basic tricks, as long as he is offered sufficient Churu treats. Please adopt this lovable kitty, he will make a wonderful addition to your family!

More about this shelter
The Maryland SPCA connects wonderful pets to loving owners. We are not affiliated with any national animal organization, and we do not receive any government or United Way funding. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and neglect of animals through fostering the humane relationship between animals and people. We operate primarily in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area.
To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered before going into a new home. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care. In addition, a free Positive Pooch class is available to our dog adopters.
There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We pride ourselves on providing premium care to the animals in a clean, pleasant environment. Our adoption staff works diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.
We transport animals from other shelters to our adoption center to help more animals get adopted. We also help pet owners find new homes for their pets so their animals don’t need to enter shelter care.
