Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Miss Chanel of Palm Springs is coming to us as an owner surrender. She is 15 pounds, 7 months old. Her DNA from EMBARK came back 50% French Bulldog, 30.9 % Pug, and an astonishing 16.1% Pekingnese.
Chanel's original owner died when she was four months old. A very kind woman in her 70's saved Chanel from a life of who knows what and excessive breeding but has found she needs a more active life than she can provide. Current on shots, licensed and microchipped, Chanel will have fecal to laboratory and heartworm testing before being available for adoption.
As all who have adopted puppies from us these last ten years are aware - we DO NOT spay or neuter our rescue dogs born and raised in Fluffs & Scruffs, A Dog Rescue, Inc.'s foster homes. (We are foster-based and do not crate). If they are already desexed by the shelter we pull them from - we have no choice but to accept that outcome. But when we HAVE the choice we wait until they are one year old. Please watch this video from esteemed Veterinarian Dr. Karen Becker. Desexing too young is tantamount to castrating a 13-year-old boy. The dogs need their hormones just as we humans do. Link to video:

To that end, we adopt out our pups under contract and pay for their spay or neuter at our Veterinarians when they are one year old. Our adoption contract is very clear on this and in ten years we have never had a problem with this practice. We want our rescues to live very long and healthy lives and know by observing experts & being open to learning we are giving our adopters more time/years with their adoptees. Our adoption process is very thorough and includes personal and veterinary references, telephone interview to make sure we are matching the personality of the dog to you and your family's lifestyle, and a homecheck.
Chanel is great on leash. Chanel is a cuddler and sleeps in bed with her. If you think you are Chanel's new family please email fluffsandscruffs@aol.com for an application . You can also reach out to our founder Lisa Michelle Corona at 310 980 3383.
We are aware of the danger Frenchie's and their owners find themselves in these days with dognapping and hope you are as well. Chanel's adoption donation is $750 of which $300 will reimburse the owner.
