My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Keller: Keller is a 4-year-old mixed-breed dog who was rescued from Honduras in early 2024. She spent much of her life as a street dog, relying on herself to find shelter and resources. Because of this, Keller is under-socialized with new people and is still learning what it means to feel safe and secure in a home environment. Keller will thrive in a patient, positive household with people who understand the importance of going slow and respecting her boundaries as she continues to adjust to life indoors. With consistency and gentle guidance, she has the potential to build confidence and trust at her own pace. She has a moderate energy level and would do well with a calm, predictable routine. We believe Keller may do well with cats, though this is not yet fully known and would require careful, gradual introductions. With time, compassion, and understanding, Keller has the opportunity to blossom into a wonderful companion for the right home.
