Hello, nice to meet you! Even though my name is Coffee, I don't need any to have energy throughout the day! I am young and lively, so I would do best in a family with a big backyard or someone who could take me on walks often. I am also not a fan of cats or other small animals, so I would like a home without them. I am an 80-pound gentle giant who really enjoys being pet and talked to. I am a really silly boy, too. My tongue hardly ever fits in my mouth and I'm always happy to see the humans here! My ideal day would consist of running around and playing followed by cuddle time and a nap. I am excited about life and can't wait to find my forever home!

More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
