Here's what the humans have to say about me:
About a month ago, right as Philly was about to get a lot of snow, this sweet girl ran up to me in the parking lot of my apartment building, friendly as could be. We just couldn't leave this little one out in the snow, so having cat supplies already, we brought her in. She hung out in our bathroom and office for several days, getting used to being inside. She was so sweet, curious, playful, affectionate, happy to have the attention. We already had two cats, aged 6 and 7, so eventually we introduced them. What we are learning is that Maxey would likely be happier in a home all her own. She certainly is not mean or vicious, but from having lived her first eight months out as a stray, she seems to be having a hard time getting past feeling defensive around our other cats. We would love to be able to keep her, but she is likely to be more comfortable and relaxed in a different home environment.
