My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi!! My name is Ellie, I am an energetic but very smart border collie/lab mix. The shelter is positive my mom was a pure bred border collie and my father a lab. I was apart of a litter of puppies from a rural shelter, one day the shelter became very full and they told us we may have to be "put to sleep". Our only chance was to show our stuff at an adoption event in a local Kroger parking lot. It was hot and I was very nervous, my brothers and sisters all got adopted but I was left alone in a crate and scared for my life. A nice lady came over and began talking to me, then I heard her talking to the people of the shelter. NOW I AM LIVING IN HER HOME, temporarily of course but she has been so wonderful. Everyday she tells me "your forever family will soon come." I do believe her when she tells me this!! If I look like the puppy for your home please consider me!! I am about four months old, 30 pounds and a great little puppy!!
