She wins the hearts of everyone she meets with her romantic leans or silly personality. She is known to rest her chin on your elbow while you're working, knock over the water bowl and sprint off, or melt into your lap for a good rub down. Juana has beautiful leash manners, is house trained and crate trained -- often putting herself in her crate for naps. She is fostered in a home with large and small dogs. She plays from time to time, but mostly loves to sun bathe and lounge around. Although she enjoys her walks, hikes, car rides, and errands, she is medium to low energy around the house and a pretty low-maintenance dog once she's in a routine. Juana is ready to meet her forever family.

We are a group of volunteers and rescuers combining our skills to help fosters get a dog out of the shelter! The dogs in our program have begun house, crate, and leash training. Our fosters follow a handful of house rules. The transition to a new home is easiest for your dog when these structures are carried over for some time and privileges are gradually introduced. This helps minimize anxiety and behavioral issues.
