Sweetie was trapped so she could be spayed, given vaccines, and have her ear tipped to show she was spayed. She was thought to be unsocialized. However when she was spayed, she was found to be very affectionate. She enjoys pets and attention and hanging out with her people. She is a lovely cat and laidback. Playtime can be a lot of fun. She is a beautiful torby (a calico with stripes on the black and orange patches) with soft, silky fur. She likes to get up high and keep watch over the rest of the world.
Sweetie tested positive for FIV, but it's really not a big deal. FIV can affect a cat's immune system, but she can live a very long, healthy life without issue. The main thing is to keep her indoors, on a good diet, and have yearly wellness exams for preventative health - all things you should do with any cat. FIV is only transmitted cat to cat either in utero from mom to baby, or via a deep bite wound from fighting. Sweetie doesn't seem to mind other cats at all. As such, she can be in a home with non-FIV cats as long as they are friendly.
Bird and squirrel watching are two of her favorite activities. She is interested in the world around her and could be a great companion to just about anyone! Come meet her and fall under her spell! (Heartland 14242 clc)
