My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellis is a 10 month old, 40 lb mixed breed puppy. He landed in animal control when he was only a few months old and sat there waiting for a forever home. Unfortunately, that home never came for him, and he ended up on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, we were able to save his life, so now that he is healthy and fully vetted, he is ready for his forever home.

Ellis is very loving and sweet. He absolutely adores meeting new people and other dogs. He was a favorite at the veterinary clinic due to his sweet personality. He tested well with cats at the shelter, but he is not fostered with them. He is crate-trained and doing well with potty training, but he is a puppy, so he needs continued work. Ellis is not yet comfortable on a leash, but we are confident he will be once he gets more used to it. For now on leash, he will just lay down on the ground and not move. He is very food motivated and eager to please, so we feel with more work, he will catch on.
