My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gus was an outside only cat abandoned by my neighbor in August 2023. He is approx. 7+ years old, probably a little older. He has been vetted, vaccinated and is healthy. He is smart, brave, confident and playful. He is affectionate but only on his terms. Very food motivated. Gus is a cool guy. Since last summer, I contacted 25+ organizations in the area to foster him, but no one had room. I already have a dog and two cats and unfortunately cannot keep him because my cats want him gone. He’s adapted well to being inside only, not destructive at all. I think he would do well in a home with other calm pets. I do not think he would do well in a home with small children. My dog is older and they peacefully coexist. He would probably like to go outside on nice days. Since my cats are inside only, I keep him inside, but he loves to perch in an open window as a compromise. Gus deserves a loving, safe home where he can continue to blossom.
