Hi there! My name is Doug, I'm the sweetest and most gentle beagle boy. I spent the majority of my life in an animal testing laboratory where I was subjected to painful experiments. Did you know that animal testing involves experimentation on dogs like me? Now that I've been rescued by beagle Freedom Project, I'm loving my new life and gaining confidence every day. Despite my rough beginning, I am a gentle and sweet soul. I love exploring, whether it's going for a long walk in the park or just sniffing about in a yard. While I get along well with other dogs and would LOVE a home with a friendly pup friend, I haven't had much exposure to children or cats yet. I would absolutely thrive in a patient home with those excited to have a furry family member! I hope someone notices me soon... could you be my adopter?
