Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Star!
Star is a sweet girl that was surrendered to us by a family that found her on the streets. We think Star was abused at some point, as she is afraid of males, but we are working on showing her that not all men are bad.
She is in a home with a foster mom and dad, and foster brother and sisters. She still barks at dad as this is all new to her, but is super loving with mom and the kids. We are hoping she slowly becomes more comfortable around men and that we find a forever home that is willing to be patient and show her all the love and patience that she needs.
Star is very affectionate and loves to be cuddling or sitting next to you. She loves to play with her toys and chewing on her bone and she can do that calmly in her crate or right next to you. She is such a sweet soul who just wants to be loved and snuggled.
Star learns easily and is eager for her owners to show her what to do.
She loves going on walks and being outside playing. She is young so she needs plenty of exercise to ensure that she doesn't get bored and can be her best!
Star sleeps very well in her crate. She is in a foster home where there is routine and structure, and this has been very good for her. She loves knowing when she will eat, sleep and play outside!
This sweet girl would do best in a home with children or another dog . She loves the interaction and lights up when the kids come home from school! If you think Star would be a perfect fit for your family, fill out our adoption application here.
There is a $25.00 application fee.
