My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala is a spirited and active canine in need of a patient and dedicated owner who can help her overcome her resource guarding behavior through positive training. Nala is full of energy and enthusiasm, always ready for adventure and playtime.

She loves nothing more than chasing after tennis balls and engaging in interactive games that stimulate her physically and mentally. Nala is currently learning commands and thrives on mental challenges that keep her engaged and focused.

Looking for a home that understands her need for activity and mental stimulation. Regular exercise and structured play sessions will help to channel her energy positively.

More about this shelter

The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center (formerly the Riverside Humane Society) is an Adoption Guarantee Organization that takes in healthy, adoptable animals.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, updated on all vaccinations and microchipped upon adoption. They enjoy indoor, comfortable kennels and are socialized by volunteers on a regular basis.

Our mission is to eliminate the suffering of homeless cats and dogs by:

•Providing humane care for pets in transition
•Facilitating adoptions to loving homes
•Providing humane and pet overpopulation education to the public
•Supporting sterilization of companion animals
