My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

3-year-old Bruno sat in the shelter for 7 months before we couldn’t stand it anymore and we rescued him. We couldn’t believe he was still there after all that time!

Why the surprise? Because Bruno is a big, happy goofball! Kenneled with another dog and friendly with humans (and, it turns out, kids!), he was no drama. Except for the fact that due to his large size and black color, adopters didn’t (or couldn’t) see him.

But look at Bruno now! He’s with our friend, foster, and trainer Joe at @DogFitLA and it turns out he has mad skills! He is playing with big dogs and little dogs and is learning placework and leash manners. He’d be a great family dog or a wonderful protector for a single woman or family who would like a big dog to ward off evildoers. Nobody but us needs to know that Bruno is a big love bug.
