Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milo Lancaster is almost 2 years old, a Boston terrier mix who weighs 30 lb. He is black & white with some brindle. He is high energy and has lots of love. He needs some work with the basics, but he has started on some of them. He loves to play, but can sometimes get a little too worked up. Milo would do well with lots of space and lots of activities. Medical: Dry skin. Milo is heartworm positive on slow-kill treatment. Meds will be supplied by rescue until HW negative.

Likes/Dislikes
Toys: loves them when he is in the mood. Should only have Kongs or hard, safe bones liek the Himalayan Yak Cheese bones because he destroys other toys.
Other Animals: takes a little warming up first, but gets along with dogs
People/Kids: no problems with adults, but not sure about children as there are no kids in the foster home
Car Rides: better if crated while riding
Separation: none shown

The adoption fee is generally based on the dog's age and provides for neutering or spaying, all required shots, heartworm testing (we endorse "the new moxie-doxy" treatment for heart worms).

It is our expectation & a requirement that heartworm preventative be continued as well as any required vet visits after the pet is adopted.

If for some reason a match isn't made the first time around and you are approved, we will keep your application on file for the next opportunity to arise. Our primary goal is to place a dog in the most suitable environment, based on the animal's individual needs and its temperament. The commitment is lifelong and the Boston's interests are always foremost.
