Jazzy is a fairly laid back 8-9 year old neutered male. Prior to joining us in rescue, he was a barn cat at a horse farm. He made friends with a fellow animal lover that recognized that he was friendlier than your average barn cat and had the potential to be an indoor pet. He enjoys interacting with people on his terms (as many cats do!). He doesn't mind being pet and receiving the occassional belly rub but he isn't a huge lap sitter. He can be a chill, laid-back boy who is so easy to live with, and very easy to love. He has lived with other cats in the past, but would more so enjoy having a person all to himself. With other kitties, we find that he does best with ample room to himself as he doesn't think twice about giving a swat to other felines in his space. Jazzy will need an experienced owner who will provide him with professional grooming approximately every 6-8 weeks or so. He has done great with the grooming staff here and will happily sport a lion-cut in lieu of grooming himself, otherwise his coat will become painfully matted.
Jazzy's adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing. Jazzy is seeking an indoor only home. Our adoption process includes a home visit and a vet history check, please submit an adoption application for consideration.
