My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mavis doesn't understand how she's been front and center, greeting everyone who comes in, but no one has taken her home.

This 8-year-old kitty doesn't like kittens and honestly, it's not a big fan of rowdy kids.. She doesn't have time for that. She's grown. She's mature. She's mindful. She's demure.

She wants a toy, a basket, and a Churu.
Is that so much to ask?

Yeah, maybe she is judging you and giving a stink eye.
But, do you deserve it? Probably.
Does she still love you? Absolutely.

Additional adoption info

All communication will be via email. Luckys.cat.house@gmail.com
Pre-adoption application submitted.
Pre-adoption application is reviewed by our Board of Directors.
All applications are reviewed in the order they are received.
Director of Operations follows up with any questions and the requested cat’s availability status
based on the application.
Director of Operations checks character and/or veterinary references. (Note if this is your first
pet, we will confirm that you have established a local veterinary clinic and are prepared for the adoption).
If the Board of Directors and the Director of Operations you are a potential match for a specific
cat, a meet-n-greet will be arranged.
If the applicant and Director of Operations agree the cat is a match, a home visit will be
scheduled. The home visit will be completed by one of our board members.
If all goes well and both parties feel the cat is a match, an adoption will be scheduled/finalized.
This will include reviewing our adoption agreement, reviewing veterinary records, collecting
adoption fee and taking a family photo.
Special notes: We only work with one applicant at a time and ask the same of our
applicants. If you are pursuing other cats via other organizations at the same time you are working with us, we respectfully reserve the right to no longer pursue our process with you.
We cannot hold cats in rescue. If you cannot schedule a meet-n-greet with in a timely
manner we will move forward with our next applicant. If we do not receive a response
within 24 hours, we will move on to that cats next applicant.
Our goal is to make life-long matches and ensure all of our cats find their forever homes.
