Farley is a great family dog. We got him as a puppy from a family a we found on the AKC (American Kennel Club) he’s a pure bread Weim.
Weims are know to be attached! They want to be where you are always, not good with being alone.
Farley is exactly that. He sleeps in our bed, follows us into every room we go to, and he is not an outside dog (unless we are outside).
Farley has lived with other dogs, with cats and with small kids and is great with all three& we’ve never had any issues.
He does have pretty severe separation anxiety and needs someone who can be home more often than not. His anxiety leads him to scratch at the doors! He is not kennel trained or leash trained. He uses the dog door and loves to chase the birds.
