Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Theresa is the sweetest little cavalier puppy! She gets super excited to see her person and will wiggle with anticipation of being loved on. She loves to give kisses to show her appreciation.
Theresa is a playful puppy and enjoys playing with other dogs. She was born in a puppy mill and missed out on the critical socialization she needed at a young age. She will need someone to help her with her confidence and love on her.
Theresa is being treated for giardia, a common parasite found in puppy mills. She will complete her meds before being adopted.
Theresa's adoption is $500. She has not been spayed due to her age (we spay at 6 months). A spay contract is required and Leia's Hope will pay for the spay if using our vet in Troy, Mo. She is current on vaccines and microchipped. Visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
