Meet Miles (Lila's Litter): this puppy is sweet as pie and also a total goofball.

Miles, along with his 8 litter mates and their loving mom, spent their early days in a shelter in Louisiana where they were rescued before making the trip up north to be placed in generous foster homes, patiently waiting for the perfect family to come along.

Miles is a delightful mix of playful and irresistible cuteness. He absolutely adores dogs and cats of all kinds and gets along swimmingly all of his foster fur-siblings. He loves to go in car rides, to hang out at work with his foster dad, where he is a staff favorite (...no surprise here!), and to spend time outside hanging out in the yard with his foster family.

Miles is a quick learner, eager to please, is great with commands, and is already house trained... a solid foundation for anyone looking to add Miles to their family.

He can be a bit shy at first when meeting new people or when he's in new environments for the first time, so he would do best in a home with another dog or a parent who works from home so he can get help growing his confidence while being the constant, loving companion that Miles is.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
