This helps NYC Second Chance Rescue with pet care costs.
Being the best boy is hard work - just ask Kris! He's a great leash-walking buddy, fully housebroken, affectionate, well-behaved, and goes with the flow. Someone left Kris tied to a park bench with no food, water, or note. After an amazing foster family took him in, Kris began having seizures and, soon after, was diagnosed with Idiopathic Epilepsy. Thankfully, we work with some of the best veterinary professionals on the East Coast, and Kris got a full workup and medication regimen and is back to living his best life. Kris is just under 2 years old and weighs about 65 pounds of cuddle bug goodness. He prefers dogs his own size to chill with but would also make a great solo pet. He is a dream companion, but don't take our word for it. Here's what Kris's foster mama had to say about him, "Not to play favorites but he’s the best foster I’ve ever had. He’s super well-behaved, and loves everyone." So, what do you think? Is Kris the dog of your dreams? Submit an application today to bring Kris home.
All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. Please note that the listed location for this dog may not be accurate due to technical limitations of this database and we have transportation options available within 6 hours of NYC (so don't let location hold you back)!
